Hey there! Ashton Mental Health, is looking to partner with motivated clinicians (that's independent contractors) to help us meet the growing demand for mental health services. If you're tired of rigid schedules and mandatory meetings, keep reading—we're all about flexibility, autonomy, and living by your own schedule. 

We're currently seeking independently licensed AND candidates: LCSW, LPC, SWC, LSW, and LPCC.

We know you do your best work when you have control over your practice. Here's what we offer:

• You Pick the Location: Seriously, it's up to you! Provide services virtually from your home office, use our Boulder office, or do a mix of both.

• Total Schedule Freedom: You are your own boss. You set your availability, you manage your client load.

• Support for Candidates: If you're a SWC, LSW, or LPCC working toward full licensure, we will connect you with a supervisor and we cover the cost of the supervisory billing.

• Referrals and Exposure: We add you to the Ashton Mental Health website, send you referrals directly from the site, and provide internal referrals when available/appropriate. 

• Zero Pressure:
  • No mandatory meetings. We trust you to manage your work.
  • No minimum case loads
  • No restrictions against working elsewhere
  • No long-term contract lock-in. Our partnership works as long as it works for both of us and can be terminated without penalty.
  • We handle insurance credentialing and billing services for you! 

We value providers who:

• Practice Evidence-Based Care: Whether you specialize in a specific therapy type (like DBT, EMDR,CPT,IFS,FST,etc.) or prefer a mixed methods approach, we expect a commitment to using methodologies supported by research.
• Are Deeply Compassionate: You genuinely care about your clients and approach every person with empathy and respect.
• Provide Trauma-Informed Services: You understand how trauma impacts mental health and utilize a gentle, collaborative, and trauma-informed lens in all your work.

We require you to be licensed or actively working toward licensure in one of these categories:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Social Work Candidate (SWC)
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)
